My Practice
Who we are
Our office consists of two attorneys and our Office Manager. Emily Gardner opened the firm in June of 2023 as Law Offices of E.J. Gardner, LLC. She soon realized the office needed to expand. Julia Day then joined the firm in July and the office was changed to its current name: Gardner & Day, Attorneys at Law. Teka Brown, the owner of Cafe 101, is our stand in office manager.
Our Approach
We established this law firm to help our Coastal Community access legal services that would otherwise seem complicated and overwhelming. Julia Day and Emily Gardner have experience breaking the law down in to simple terms so that our clients are better able to understand their options and make the right decision for themselves and their families. If you work with us, expect to receive compassionate attorneys who leave the big fancy words at home.

Emily J. Gardner, Esq.
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from Point Loma Nazarene University and a certificate in Politics and Public Policy from Georgetown University. I graduated Cum Laude from Western State College of Law and have a license to practice law in Oregon and Washington.
Julia Day, Esq.
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from Oregon State University. I graduated from the University of Washington Law School in 2018 and have a license to practice law in Oregon.
Bentley, The Law Dog
No law office is complete without its very own resident dog. This is Bentley. He often wanders our office during the day begging for any food you may or may not want to share. He is blind and deaf but makes up for it with his incredible nose for all things edible within reach.
Our beloved "Law Dog" passed away. His last few years were his best years, feasting on all the treats and affection from everyone who met him. He was the best office dog anybody could ask for and we miss our little guy every day.
